Greek Island House
24.07.2015
A hillside location on a Greek Island provides the setting for a new residence designed by Mathieson Architects, and has recently obtained local planning approval.
The house presents as a simple rectangle of monolithic rendered masonry walls set amonst a rugged landscape of scrub and dry stone walls. The master bedroom is orientated to a nearby mountain range that drops dramatically to the sea. A 12 meter wide living space opens to olive trees and a walled courtyard to the west, whilst to the east an expansive terrace and infinity edge pool projects out into the landscape and toward the Ionian Sea.
As work continues on this exciting project we look forward to providing further updates.
